About Whole Lifecycle Nutrition

An Integrative & Functional Nutrition Practice focusing on Female Reproductive and Hormone Health, and Pediatric Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition is a key element in fostering a vibrant, well-nourished life.…and family. Whole Lifecycle Nutrition was created to meet the unique needs of women and their families. From optimizing fertility preconception, to supporting a healthy pregnancy, through birth, breastfeeding, and getting comfortable with a new Mom bod, we are here to support you every step of the way. As your child grows, we are a familiar and reliable resource for trusted nutrition counseling and advice. We encompass the life cycle.

We take a holistic approach to your health to best understand every client as a whole human, rather than simply a collection of systems and symptoms to be treated as separate issues. As an integrative and functional medicine nutrition practice, we help you to discover and tackle the root cause of your symptoms. If you are looking to start a family, address hormonal imbalances, support with feeding your babies (they will always be your “babies”), or compassionate care for eating disorder recovery, we’ve got you covered. We recognize that each client has unique nutrition needs. Our team will treat you and your family with respect, warmth, and compassion.

We offer all services via telehealth video chat. This means that you can spend less time shuffling your schedule around to drive to appointments and more time making the changes that will ensure success for you and your family. Pajamas accepted; this is a no-judgment zone. Get convenient, expert nutrition services throughout the whole lifecycle right here!

Our Mission

To empower women and their families to nurture their bodies and achieve wellness through food and nutrition

I Believe In

Equal access to optimal health and nutrition for all regardless of race/ethnicity, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, age, size/shape or socioeconomic status

A loving and supportive environment that nurtures the physical, cognitive and emotional needs of all children and protects them from harm

Refuting and dismantling the fat bias and weight stigma that is experienced by larger bodied people

Food is love; a healthy relationship with food allows our bodies to grow into the shape and size they were meant to be

Women feeling empowered, knowledgeable, and strong to confidently take ownership of their own self-care, and love their bodies

“Let food be thy medicine
and medicine be thy food.”

Meet Rachel

Rachel Andrade, MS, RD, LDN, IFNCP (she/her)

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a master’s level dietitian and board certified integrative and functional nutritionist. I created Whole Lifecycle Nutrition to empower women to put their own health first, and to be the strongest and best versions of themselves. Women are nurturers. We innately care for those around us—endlessly generous—typically at the expense of ourselves. We are often taught that self care is self indulgent. It isn’t. We deserve health and happiness. In taking care of ourselves, we discover our personal best. Now is the time to redirect your efforts into yourself. You can be the exceptional human that you are meant to be. To accomplish that, you need to practice self care first.

I set out to create a practice where I could help one woman—bio or identifying as—at a time. I have made it my mission to help women and their families achieve health and wellness through customized nutrition guidance. In our behavioral health nutrition counseling sessions, your body, mind, lifestyle, food habits and beliefs, access to nutritious food, and your diverse cultural and ethnic practices are all considered and given space. I combine science-based nutrition with your input to empower you to embark on a realistic nutrition journey. I teach a mindful eating approach to encourage sustainable and beneficial relationships with food. I get my energy through guiding you in creating a nourishing and fulfilling lifestyle. As a Mom who has dedicated her life to female and pediatric health, I know how important it is to work with healthcare providers who listen and care about the wellness of you and your family.
